Mark Dildine, Beyond the Bio.
My father was singing at an old brush harbor meeting one night.
When a man walked in and went straight to the alter. He cried and cried, till it seemed heaven came down. He lifted his head with a huge smile and we all knew that God touched that man right then. We found out that he was driving by in his truck, when he heard my father singing. He had just lost his job, his family and was on his way to commit suicide. When he heard that anointed music, God moved on him to stop. He told us, he was not what you call a religious person.
In fact, hardly believed at all. He also could not explain why he stopped!
He heard my Dad singing about Jesus and hit his brakes.
Music that is anointed is a powerful tool to reach the lost.
Since I was young, I have witnessed the mighty hand of God move the hardened heart to repentance, the broken heart to healing and the defeated to victory.
The songs God has given me, I pray they reach deep in the heart and heal.
I have dedicated my life to obeying this calling that God has given me.
