Mark's calling in ministry and music came to him at a very young age, He was eight years old when he began traveling with his father as he served in music evangelism. Mark has often joked about being raised on an old Greyhound bus, But there is a lot of truth in that statement. Most of his formative years were spent on the road, at least until he was accepted into the prestigious Chicago Conservatory of Music when he was ten years old.

By the time he reached his twenties, Mark's gift and calling eventually led him to serve as a youth pastor where he was used by God to grow a small group of 35 teenagers into a powerful ministry with over 135 in regular attendance.

While he enjoyed serving in that capacity, he knew his youth pastoring efforts were apart of God's larger plans for him.

Mark returned to music evangelism in 1985 after receiving his ordination and began appearing on Christian and secular television networks and stations. Mark has appeared on CBS, Daystar Houston, PTL Satellite, Dove Broadcasting, LeSea Broadcasting and Chicago's Channel 38, to name a few. After building relationships within these networks and stations, God opened a new door when Mark became producer and host of the first Christian program on PBS.

Mark's ministry service continued to grow as he served as a interim youth pastor for several major congregations as well as starting a radio ministry that grew into a national program. God opened doors in media production where Mark was blessed to serve as a producer for TBN Houston as well as over 25 Television and radio programs. Over the years, Mark's work has aired on PBS, GAC, MTV, TBN, Discovery and Lifetime Time Warner Houston and Comcast. As CEO of MBD Media Group, Mark's production team members were recepients of 14 Telly Awards and One Emmy Award.

As a concert producer, Mark has worked with such national recording artist as rock artists Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, Ministry, Saliva. In country Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers and Mark Chesnutt. In Christian music he worked with Carman, David Crowder Band,  Bebo Norman, Sarah Sadler, Bob Bennett,  Gordon Jensen, and many more. By the 2000's, Mark's production company drew attention from Dun and Bradstreet of Wall Street who nominated him as a Who's Who of U.S. Executives. He also won the International Who's Who Award in Business 2000 and 2001. Mark has lectured on Religion and Broadcasting for Rice University, University of Houston, Midwest Bible College and several other educational institutions.

After much prayer, Mark has returned to his calling of music evangelism.
